Festival of India in the Bay Area: Aug 14-15, 1999

A booth was set up at the annual Festival of India event in the Bay Area (Fremont), California to raise awareness about RIM. The booth was managed by a highly energetic team of 10-12 Bay Area RIM volunteers on August 14th-15^th, 1999. A variety of materials were used — charts, posters, maps, flags, flyers — to attract the attention of thousands of visitors at this ‘mela’. The interest generated by this RIM booth is evident from the fact that the Bay Area RIM members have doubled since the event.
