  • 72 volunteers will work with these nodal NGO and their partners during the first year.
  • A RIM volunteer will be referred to as a Samaj Shilpi.
  • The RIM SV program will be launched on Oct 2nd.
  • Training guidelines for each region and a general guiding framework were discussed. Each NGO/state will design and implement a training program best suited for their regions within the guiding principles.
  • Six cities will participate in the CC program: Chennai, Coimbatore, Cochin, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore. EXNORA will help the state representatives/NGOs design an appropriate strategy. Nagpur, Bhopal and Bhubaneshwar would also like to start a CC program in their cities
  • A training module will be designed for the CC program on the same lines as the SV program.
  • All plans and budgets will be sent to the National Coordinator for review and request for funding.
  • Reporting and monitoring of the SV will be done by the State Coordinator of the state. All reports will be sent to the RIM National Coordinator. Progress reports and plans for CC programs will also be sent to the National Coordinator.
  • All RIM partners came forward to provide other forms of support/resources to the SV and CC programs.
  • RIM (India) should seriously try to explore other sources of funding (besides RIM-USA).
