Established in 1973 (but began work only in 1976)

Objective:To prepare a cadre of youth workers including functionaries from Government and Non-Government agencies who are responsible for brining about a change desired by the community.

Programs:

  • Organising need-based training programs, seminars, and workshops for youth;
  • Generating self-employment opportunities for women heading households;
  • Imparting financial, business and technical know-how in small trades to these women.
  • Providing links to banks, institutions and training centers.
  • Helping the children of these women achieve formal education.
