Gandhigram Trust

Gandhigram Trust was started in the year 1947 by well known Gandhian workers, Dr. T.S. Soundaram and Dr. G. Ramchandran. The philosophy of the trust is to establish a casteless and classless society based on the principles of truth and non-violence. The objectives of the Trust is to touch all aspects of village development such as education, health, family welfare, social welfare and integrated development of the village. Gandhigram belives that a meaningful and sustainable society is possible only when citizens work consciously towards influencing social transformation processes.
